D. \u00c1NGEL PENAS MERINO<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Catedr\u00e1tico de Bot\u00e1nica de la Universidadede Le\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MI\u00c9RCOLES 23 DE OCTUBRE DE 2019 A LAS&nbsp; 7&nbsp; de la tarde<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SAL\u00d3N DE GRADOS DE LA FACULTADE DE FARMACIA DE SANTIAGO<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>RESUMEN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La <strong>Bioclimatolog\u00eda<\/strong> es la rama de la climatolog\u00eda que estudia los efectos del ambiente sobre los seres vivos a lo largo del tiempo. Su \u00e1mbito de influencia es ampl\u00edsimo, incluyendo el desarrollo y distribuci\u00f3n de plantas, animales y seres humanos. Si bien hay referencias hist\u00f3ricas a esta ciencia desde hace m\u00e1s de dos mil a\u00f1os, el desarrollo de la Bioclimatolog\u00eda como ciencia es relativamente reciente, habiendo experimentado un gran impulso en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas. De su desarrollo hist\u00f3rico, situaci\u00f3n actual y&nbsp; perspectivas de futuro versar\u00e1 la presente conferencia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El conferenciante, <strong>Prof. Dr. \u00c1ngel Penas Merino<\/strong>, es Doctor en Biolog\u00eda y Catedr\u00e1tico de Bot\u00e1nica de la Universidad de Le\u00f3n, de la cual fue Rector de 2000 a 2008. El Prof. Penas Merino ha desarrollado una extensa investigaci\u00f3n en las llamadas Ciencias Geobot\u00e1nicas, como son la Fitosociolog\u00eda, la Biogeograf\u00eda y la Bioclimatolog\u00eda, sin olvidarse de la Taxonom\u00eda Vegetal, siendo autor de 320 trabajos cient\u00edficos, ocho libros y 12 cap\u00edtulos de libros con diversas editoriales nacionales e internacionales. Ha sido ponente invitado en diversos Congresos y Seminarios, e investigador en 40 proyectos y contratos con empresas.
